Food Owl reviews Tertulia- an artwork of food and a poetry of ambience

Gorgeousness is a gross understatement of this place. With the warmth that the staff greets you with when you step in, you are almost certain that you will be served well!
An impromptu lunch plan with a dear friend turned out to be quite a plate-ful. After the initial chit-chat fervour, which the ambience literally invites you for, we finally ordered the chips and paté platter. the lavash and toast were way to less, but the tzatziki here is to die for! the mushroom paté is great too, but the hummus was quite a let down!
For mains we ordered baked aubergine, which had a side of couscous and some bell pepper hummus. This was the food i waited for for half my life it seemed! the stuffing of bell peppers and zucchini was seasoned to delightful goodness and topped with just the right amount of mozzarella! the couscous was mild, but still well cooked, and the hummus here was outstanding. my friend and i digged into it till the last speck, and that just shows how awseomely-delightfully-lip-smacking it was!
The service is gracious and very very warm, its the kind of place you want to go to, again and again, and then once more!
