The most satiating late night eat- Food owl review of The Third House, Andheri.

When i first went looking for this place with google maps, i almost missed it. Then reached to find that it was a specialty late night eatery of sorts! 

So after drinks and snacks at a friends nearby place, i suggested this to try for dinner instead of ordering in- and blessed was that day- night rather, for us to have found a classy replacement to the amar juice/mithibai/irla dosas and pao bhajis. The Third house has surprised, that first time, then the second....and till the recent umpteen-th time with exemplary food.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  My order there is becoming so fixed that when i ask for the Batata harra, Rajiv( the owner who graciously provides good conversation with every meal), he knows what all is next!                                                                                                                           The pepper seared Basa, served with herb rice, and sauteed veggies is smooth and flavourful, as is the Italian button-stuffed mushrooms.

The garlic naan and Dal tadka puts the bukharas and peshawaris of the world to shame, and the pasta napolitane follows close behind. 

Tried the much recommended Sliders- Paneer makhanwala was too filled with masala, so not appetising for my palette, and the butter chicken slider was also on the sweeter side too. can be missed, but for the novelty value of an indie-slider.Absolutely loved the warm apple pie, just the right sweet, and soft to crumbly perfection! the chocolate mousse just as delectable.

Waiting to try more out of the sumptuous menu already!
